Fixing rising damp requires a chemical damp proof course to prevent moisture from traveling through the walls. Old plaster must be removed, the wall treated with an injected DPC, and re-plastered with salt-resistant render. External ground levels should also be checked to ensure they don’t bridge the DPC(Damp Proof Course).
